This is my first week of class in my second semester this year.

I am very excited, since this semester I will be taking subjects entirely in English; therefore, I will be able to improve my English and practice it every day and in every class. I have mentioned this because it is more difficult for me to speak English than French, but this way, I will be able to improve my English skills and gain confidence in speaking.

Also, this is my second week at the gym. I tried to go since the beginning of the year, but because of my studies and my job, it was very difficult for me to go.  This month I have taken it up again and I hope to make this habit part of my daily life.

My job is not very common, since I help my grandma to make uniforms for the schools, on behalf of the government. What I do is buttonhole and sew the buttons to the shirts; likewise, I package the pairs of shirts and pants or blouses and skirts, I label them and I order them by section.

Another thing that happened this week was that I had problems with my car. The security guard called me on Wednesday and told me that my car had a flat tire. So I went to pick up the car from the parking lot and took it to get it "aligned and balanced", as the tire was flat for that reason. But something good came out of it, as the guy I like, kept me company during the waiting time, while the car was being repaired. We finally spent the afternoon together.

  1. I thought I was the only one who believed French was easier than English. Believe me, for me English has been more difficult to learn than French. I totally identify with your post. I am really glad you are committed to improve your English skills and I am really sure you will get it. Courage! We are almost done with college!.

We all do. And I like your job because it has to do with sewing. I want to learn how to make underware and T-shirt and that stuff. Keep it up amie...
